Regional Sheds is owned and operated by husband and wife duo, Lachlan and Nora Devitt. With a shared passion for quality craftsmanship and strong attention to detail, they combine years of experience to ensure every shed is built to the highest standard.

Regional Sheds was launched in 2019, initially waiting for the drought to break Lachy and Nora decided to wait no more, only to be challenged by a horrific bush fire season. As the threat of fires subsided, Covid introduced a whole new set of obstacles. Just as they navigated through the pandemic, some of the wettest years on record brought yet more challenges—all before reaching their 5th birthday!

Through this time Lachy and Nora continued to build and refine their business. The early challenges accelerated their growth, helping them find reliable suppliers, source quality materials, and foster strong community ties. Today, Regional Sheds is proud to be one of the premier shed builders and supply companies serving Southern NSW and the ACT.
Lachlan Devitt
With over 20 years of experience, Lachlan began his career as an apprentice in Canberra, working on notable projects including iconic Red Hill homes and the National Art Gallery. He later moved to the Gulf of Carpentaria and then onto the Northern Territory, where he spent a decade building in remote towns, stations, and regional communities. During this time, he developed his skills in constructing metal frame buildings and developed a strong problem-solving mindset required for working in regional and remote areas.
Returning to the Capital Region with a young Family Lachlan identified a gap in the local shed industry, with mainly basic purlin frames only on offer the idea of Regional Sheds was born, premium purlin and fabricated sheds anywhere.

Nora Devitt
BUSINESS MANAGER
Nora honed her skills in customer service, the financial industry, and risk management. With this diverse background, she brings a unique perspective to every project.
As the first point of contact, Nora manages the sales inquiries and design drafting to quoting and building approval applications.
She takes the time to truly understand each client's goals, preferences, and budget, guiding them through the process to achieve the best possible outcome.
Drawing on her experience in customer service and finance, Nora is dedicated to making sure that the planning and design of your shed or structure is done right from the start.
Our process
When it comes to sheds, our services are designed to ensure a smooth and efficient building experience. We aim to make the process as streamlined as possible so you can start enjoying your new shed as soon as possible.
​ENQUIRY
​We carefully review your enquiry and examine online maps to get a better understanding of the project. We then start preliminary designs and pricing.
REFINE
If required, we conduct an on-site inspection to gather all the detailed information about the project. Based on our findings and the scope of work, we will prepare a quote.
APPROVAL
We manage the process of obtaining all necessary building approvals and permits to ensure that the project meets all legal and council requirements.
ORDER
Once approvals are in place the design and construction plan are finalized. We then proceed to order all the necessary materials for the project.
INSTALLATION
We complete the construction of your shed and any additional works such as driveways or internal fit-outs. We then hand over the finished project for you to enjoy.
